Exercise with words in specific order

Hey, Frank, wait up, I want to run something by you. [catching breath] Thanks!

So, I was down at the bar last night, and I noticed something between Jessica and Bruno. I don’t know what it was, some sort of energy or atmosphere, maybe? But then, I passed by Bruno’s room this morning, and his bed was dishevelled, like the duvet had been flipped up from both sides!

I mean, I know, it’s thin, and it’s none of my business even if I’m right, they’re both adults and no person can belong to another, but he knows she’s married, right?!

I know this isn’t the sort of stuff that should be spread around here – I know rumours spread like wildfire – and I take no delight in this, but that’s why I came to you, so you can help me work out what my moral duty is here, with knowing what I know.

Now, before you say anything, I know you know I’ve had my eye on Ben for a while, so I don’t want you to think I’m driven by the green monster. This is genuine concern, but I don’t want to break up a marriage or a friendship, and it’s giving me this awful headache! I just love all the parties involved and I don’t want to see and of them hurt.

But the way he ogles here in that skin-tight, overly revealing pink dress has the potential to reveal their relationship to others. It makes me see red, how relaxed they are about it! In some ways, it would be a relief if it all blew up in their faces, the smug adulterers. You know, I hate to ask this after you’ve been such a help already, but I’ve just had a lightbulb moment – could I borrow your tape recorder?
