Most large law firms are situated in high rent districts and as such they are pleasant environments to work in. Specifically in high rise corporate building structures, they have phenomenal views and gorgeous architecture. The common areas are also usually rather lavish with the use of granite, marble, glass and plush leather furniture. As opposed to ordinary wood and sheetrock walls, dreary cloth chairs and furniture, the cubicles and offices within large law firms are often decorated with a touch of class and elegance. Engraved decorative woodworking and large heavy doors emphasize a sense of power and presence. Such an atmosphere can definitely make a trip into the office for an IS professional feel like a comfortable day at home.
