My understanding on why Christianity stands strongly against Homosexuality

It has been established that Christianity stands firmly against homosexuals and their marriages, as it goes against their beliefs and the words of God revealed in the bible.

It is these holy doctrines in the bible that shapes the moral character of Christians, and lies evidence which the influence the viewpoints, Christians have against homosexuality. For many Christian faiths hold that homosexual behavior is a sin, while some also condemn homosexual orientation, regardless of behavior. Some of the biblical scripture verses (found in all Christian Bibles) that express disapproval of homosexuality that is used frequently by most Christians to defend their beliefs are:

„X Leviticus. 18:22 ÐŽV ÐŽ§You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.ЎЁ

„X Leviticus. 20:13 - ÐŽ§If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to deathЎЁ

„X 1 Corinthians. 6:9-10 - ÐŽ§Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanders, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.ЎЁ

„X Romans. 1:26-28 - ÐŽ§For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper.ЎЁ

In accordance to the scriptures of the bible seen on the previous page, and the Christian teachings, homosexuals are committing a sexual sin that is accompanied with severe consequences. Such people, who adopt such a lifestyle, begin to accept their behavior as proper, and no longer see the wrong in what they do.
