The Fighting Bull

Ferruccio Lamborghini was a man who had the inspiration, the skill and the determination to turn a dream into a reality. His dream was to build great cars. His dream came true, as today Lamborghini's are one of the most expensive and exotic cars.

Ferruccio Lamborghini was born on April 28th 1916, in Renazzo, Italy. Ferruccio had interest in technology and mechanics instead of becoming a farmer like his parents. He studied technical studios in Bologna, Italy. His skills were put to use when in world war. He was put incharge of vehicle maintenance in Rhodes, Greece. When returned home from the war he started buying old military vehicles and converting them into tractors.

In 1948, Ferruccio Lamborghini bought a workshop in Cento, Italy, were he started producing tractors. In 1959 after the government refused to give him a license to build helicopters, he turned his attention to cars. He opened his first car factory in Sant' Agata. Were he started producing one of the many Lamborghini's to come.

The First Lamborghini was built in 1963. It was called the 350 GTV, after that came the 350GT (1964-1966), 400GT (1966-1968), Miura And Miura SV (1966-1969), Espada (1968-1969), Jarama (1970), Jarama S (1973), Silhouette (1976), Countach LP 400S (1978), Jalpa (1982-1988), LM002 (1986-1992), Countach LP 5000 (1985-1988), Countach 25th Anniversary (1988-1990), Diablo (1995-2000), Murcielago (2001- Present) and the latest Lamborghini the Gallardo (2004 - present).

Ferruccio Lamborghini died on the 20th of February 1993.

He left behind the legacy of one of the best cars ever produced. Lamborghini's legacy is still being written today as more exotic and faster Lamborghini's are produced
