Tanglewood's mission is to be the best department store for customers by providing quality products at an outstanding value. Tanglewood places a high emphasis on its employees to practice core values of responsible financial management, clear and honest communication, and always placing performance and customer service above all. An individual with excellent interpersonal skills and some form of previous experience in the customer service field, as well as basic math and computer knowledge would likely fit in the most common job categories. Tanglewood is built on morals and providing a welcoming, friendly, and helpful environment. Hire or Retain - Tanglewood should seek to minimize their turnover and retain the employees already in place. The company is successful in profits and growing at a moderate rate.

National or Global - Neither. I would not recommend outsourcing nor offshoring any form of Tanglewood's business. The foundation of the Tanglewood corporation is built on making its customers feel comfortable and valued. Doing either of the above will put that mission in the hands of another culture not aligned with our own.

Attract or Relocate - Tanglewood should attract qualified job applicants, not relocate. Tanglewood is a retail store not requiring highly skilled laborers. The cost of relocating its stores to areas of higher volume of labor supplies.

Overstaffed or Understaffed - Tanglewood should practice overstaffing. The organization does not participate in the use of temporary workers, thus any sudden shortages could not be filled easily. Tanglewood
