The changes that I can start making for my life to be more environmental would be as follows. I would first start off by watching the heat that I use in my house during the winter time. Heat is known as the biggest energy use in homes. If you have your filters checked every so often and clean up the filters you will have a good heating system. Proper insulation is also a big part in keeping a house warm and also keeping the heat down. Good storm windows are good to have in your house they can reduce the warm air from escaping to the outside. A big money saver that I need to do is use my windows for getting sunlight in my house. You can save so much electricity my using natural sun light. Another thing I can do to save energy would be to make sure every time that I get out of the shower or get done using a sink I make sure that I have the water turned off. So much water is wasted each day in the world by people that leave the water dripping when they aren't using it. In the summer time it is a good idea to keep some draped closed that way you keep the sun from coming in and keeping you air condition lower which saves on power.

My plans for the next 1-3 years would be to educate as many as people on how they can save the environment things I might teach people are as follows. The first thing I would do is try to get people to understand is how to heat there hours properly since heat is the biggest energy source in a house. So I would recommend different ways to keeping the house warm with out having to waste energy. Also let them know about recycling which is important factor in saving the environment. Washing your cloth there are many ways to save water doing this to. Such as making sure that you put in a good amount to cloths that you aren't always washing small loads. By doing this you are saving water. The lighting you use in your house also an energy saving thing. You should always turn off a light when leaving the room that way you save on energy. With lighting you should make sure that the fixtures are always clean that way you don't have the turn up the lighting and waste energy.

My five year plan will be as follows. In the next five years I hope to learn more things that I can do to save the environment and educate people to what I learn. I also plan on teaching my children when I have them all of the ways that you can save energy. Not only are you saving energy you are
