'Macbeth' is a statement of evil.

The film 'Macbeth' by William Shakespeare is a statement of evil. In the opening scene we see the witches chanting on the beach. This tells us that the film is scary and wicked. The main characters Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are both evil. This is shown when they plot and murder King Duncan. The setting is very dull and gloomy all the way through the film. This shows us that the film isn't a happy film and proves that the film is a statement of evil. The plot is evil and full of suspense. The plot is evil as Lady Macbeth and Macbeth are greedy for power. Lady Macbeth and Macbeth do everything to get what they want, with help from the witches.

The character of Macbeth is downright evil. Macbeth is a good courageous warrior who turns wicked. Macbeth's ambition to become king overpowers him which turns him evil. Macbeth is greedy for power this is proven in the film when he murders King Duncan. Macbeth not only murders King Duncan but Banquo and Fleance, and also Macduffs family. He continues murdering innocent people out of fear and revenge. Macbeth does not feel remorse for his actions. This proves that the film is a statement of evil and shows us how ambition goes wrong.

Lady Macbeth is an evil character. When Lady Macbeth received the letter from Macbeth explaining what the witches had said it got her thinking. Lady Macbeth starts off wanting the throne for her husband but then realises if he's king she will be queen and they will have more power. Lady Macbeth then starts challenging Macbeth's manhood which she knows will force him to follow her plan to kill King Duncan. Lady Macbeth is quick thinking and as it is her plan to kill king Duncan she arranges the details of the murder. Lady Macbeth predicts likely responses and thinks ahead. This clearly shows that lady Macbeth is completely wicked.

The film 'Macbeth' is a statement of evil. Macbeth's ambition goes terribly wrong. The result is destruction. The characters Macbeth and Lady Macbeth start off as loyal, loved and strong willed until there ambition get the better of them and encourage them onto deeds that eventually led to there tragic end. Lady Macbeth and Macbeth are two people who tragically go bad.
