These three articles discuss the catastrophic actions that Carl Roberts decided to take on October 5th, when he decided to enter an Amish school, hold 11 girls hostage and eventually kill five of them and himself. This is a global issue due to the fact that the United States has been fighting during the last few years to ensure its security and to make sure that any possible terrorist attack can be controlled and avoided in the best possible way. However people deciding to enter a school and kill five girls all of them under 13 years old, makes you think if America really is in desperate need for protection against the mid east, and Iraq and Afghanistan or if what needs to be done is to make sure that the people inside the country don't attack each other, and don't use violence as a way of taking revenge against God or even previous actions made by the person.

Carl Roberts was supposedly angry at God because he had taken a little girl from him and his wife in 1997, and also he had reportedly abused a member of his family a good 20 years ago and hated himself for it. But if that was the case, then why not just kill himself? Why go for the little Amish girls who had nothing to do with it and deprive them from living their lives? That is just sick and twisted behavior that the world now looks as an American custom and something that happens more regularly here than in other parts of the world.
