Introduction

Our team decided to open a sport centre in one of the biggest urban city of the World, Mexico City. After some research we determined that we will be able to make success with this business in Mexico, because today a lot of people are willing to look after their health and beauty. The city is big and international; it is the most populated metropolis buti t is also known to be very dangerous and therefore our possibility for a good business is bigger; The city doesn't provide enough safety to practice sport in open air, therefore we will provide the people a way to practice sport with safety and many different kind of ways.

We will start small and after with the time, getting experience with our work and depending how much success we will make, we will grow our business.

The sport centre will be located in a more high society lay, called Polanco. There are mainly business building , Shopping malls, Restaurants and Schools.

We believe that our business won't suffer a lot of competition, while there are no sport centres near yet.

Our objective is to motivate people to be sport active. We want t show how important it is to work out your body for many reasons, but mainly health reason. Like for example for stress, overweight, high cholesterol, etc.

Here after we will expose all the aspects concerning Polanco, our target market and our business concept.

Marketing

Our fitness centre will be located in Mexico City which is one of the biggest cities in the world. This establishment will help the business people to release their stress. That's when culture of free time is booming a lot. We spend a lot of hours working so we need to give people the chance to pursuit their leisure with sports.

Have a well equipped gym next home or work is not a problem any more for Polanco. We look for providing as much commodity as possible, which is our aim for business success.

Bring a healthy live has variety of connotations. It means more then just going to do workout, it is also a great opportunity to socialize and to see things in a different way.

In our gym we offer safety because, violence is another big word related with Mexico.

To start, we will promote our Sport Centre through advertisement, like TV, flyers and we also will create brochures with all information and photos of our business. The brochures we will be placed in Hotels, Tourism Offices, Universities and bars. We will also offer different prices to the customers according to their needs. We are going to have special offers for students and as well for business people. We are also going to offer a forfeit, which will be cheaper.

Strategy

Polanco is a place where there are especially shopping Malls, Restaurant, Business and even schools, but there is still no Sport centre located in this neighbour hood; therefore we won't suffer of potential competition. Our objective for this company is to motivate people to take care of their health and also to provide them a possibility to work out in a comfortable and safety place.

In the Political factor, we expect to obtain the permission to construct and operate our business in order to be registered as a legal industry in SHCP (Secretarнa de Hacienda y Crйdito Pъblico).

About the social factor, we could say that Mexico City is a metropolitan city and has a high number of habitants; it won't be hard to make ourselves popular, focusing in the habitants and workers in Polanco.

Considering the technological factor, we chose a place where there is a good transportation access, so that the way to get to the Sport Centre will be simple.

Finally; the economic factor related to the technological factor, as the government is cognizant of the need to upgrade infrastructure, through our business we try to start to provide the city a good start with it as we all.

Tourism

Polanco is situated in Miguel Hidalgo District; which at the moment as a percentage of its population 54.59% are women and 45.41% are men. About transportation this District locate 13 station of the line 1, 2, 7 and 9 of the Collective Metro System. Important routes surround or cross this place, like Anillo Periferico , the Circuito Interior, the avenues Rio San Joaquin, Mariano Escobedo, Ejercito Nacional, Melchor Ocampo, Constituyentes, Cuitlбhuac, Park Lira, Palms, Chapultepec, Revolucion and Patriotismo, and Paseo de la Reforma.

Polanco is one of the most dynamic zones of the city where sophisticated hotels, restaurants and the best stores of the city are situated. Polanco is a residential and commercial zone that lived a constructive fever of luxurious buildings since the 50's. Its strategic position in the city has become it in an area of businesses. In Polanco we can find night clubs, embassies, art galleries, luxurious stores of international marks, hotels and the National Tourist Office as well many museums like Rufino Tamayo; Museum of Anthropology; theatres and Parks. Mexico City is a big place with security problems; however in the last years in Polanco there's been an increase in the zone monitoring, not only within the buildings but also the presence of the Preventive Federal Police.

Arquitecture and Design

The land is 120m2. The construction we are planning to have will be of 4 stories high, and an under ground parking lot. Every floor will have large windows from top to bottom.

We will have locker rooms, showers and bathrooms in the first floor. The second floor will be for all the gym machines with a set of mirrors on the back wall. The third floor will have 3 squash courts and finally in the fourth floor there will be a pool with sliding crystal rooftop.

Concerning to legal aspects; after reviewing the Mexican Construction Laws, we found some

articles which we should take in consideration; they talk about the permits of construction; the architectural project, hygiene, services, air flows, security, person responsible of the construction; etc. (Laws annexed in appendix)
