Animal Farm

The book Animal Farm to me is by far one of the greatest books written by George Orwell. It takes place in England on a farm named Manor Farm ran by Mr Jones who took advantage of the animals he had on the farm.

The beggining of this book starts off by telling the reader about how animals on the farm are being mistreated and overworked and not being fed properly. So the animals all came together to declare a revolution on the farm owner Mr Jones and his workers.Led by Old Major, an elder pig, the animals all came together stating that all animals are created equally and life on the farm would be much better if man were dead.

After the death of Old Major, the other animals who were tired of being mistreated ran all the men out of the farm. The animals were finally happy and they ran the farm the way they wanted to. Months have gone by and then farmers from two other farms helped Mr Jones try to take back his farm but the animals stuck together and forced all the farmers out. After a short while one of the horses was seen by a fence next to a man who seemed to be feeding her. Shortly after the horse was never seen on the farm again.

After some time a couple of the pigs seemed to never agree on anything. After a long debate on weather to build a windmill one of the pigs was forced off of the farm. Some time went by and the one pig was seen having dinner with a human which was against the commandments in which the animals lived by. The pigs and man have come together and changed the name of the farm back from Animal Farm to Manor Farm and none of the animals could distinguish between man and pig.
