Research has shown that effective communication depends heavily on the visual component of face-to-face meetings.

But For distributing detailed information that includes graphics and text, using videoconferencing can be a huge advantage.

What Is the definition of Videoconferencing?

A conference between two or more participants at different sites by using computer or telephone networks to transmit audio and video data.

Basically any 2-way, real-time communication is videoconferencing.

In addition to interacting with people in remote locations, videoconferencing is also used for college coursework.

Pro & Con

The disadvantage of videoconferencing is that all parties joining in the videoconference must have equipment that is compatible with each other.

But there many more advantages that disadvantages.
