The Centre for Cooperative Research on WWW reported that United Airlines Flight 93 bound for San Francisco, California took off at 8.42 a.m. from Newark International Airport, 41 minutes behind schedule. As per the protocol the Computer Assisted Passenger Prescreening System (CAPPS) "automatically targets passengers for additional screening based on suspicious behavior such as buying one-way tickets or paying with cash. If a passenger is selected, their bags are thoroughly screened for explosives, but their bodies are not searched." The CAPPS did select Ahmad Alhaznawi of flight 93 and searched the bag for explosives, but was not stopped.

UNITED AIRLINES FLIGHT 93 on WWW reported that the United Airlines Flight 93 carried 33 passengers and 7 crew members, whereas sadnews.net on WWW reported that there were 2 pilots, 5 flight attendants and 38 passengers. The plane was captained by Jason Dahl, 43 along with another pilot LeRoy Homer, 36. The crew members consisted of Lorraine Bay, Sandra Bradshaw, Wanda Green, CeeCee Lyles and Deborah Welsh.

The Centre for Cooperative Research on WWW stated that Ed Ballinger a flight dispatcher for United Airlines sent warning signals of the first WTC crash a few minutes after 9.00 a.m., content of the message was not known obviously still not advising the pilots to bar entry into cockpit.

Tonya Buell stated that at 9.02 a.m. one of the pilots of United Airline's flight 93 confirmed the flashing of message "Beware, cockpit intrusion" on its computer screen. At 9.26 a.m. voices were heard in the United Airlines flight 93 cockpit Ð'- "Get out of here! Get out of here!"

The Centre for Cooperative Research on WWW reported that at 9.27 a.m. Tom Burnett a passenger called up his wife Deena Burnett and informed of hijack of United Airlines flight 93. The time of hijacking being a contentious issue NORAD claimed that the hijack had taken place at 9.16 a.m. whereas 9/11 commission asserted that hijacking began at 9.28 a.m. The Cleveland flight controller Stacey Taylor noticed erratic movement of the flight i.e., the flight 93 ascending and descending 300 feet gradually and frequently and flight 93 acknowledged a transmission from Cleveland flight controller at 9.28 a.m. This incidentally was the last normal contact with the plane. Shortly after hearing strange noises from inside the cockpit of flight 93 the Cleveland flight controllers noticed that the plane descended by 700 feet at 9.29 a.m. At 9.31 a.m. first-class flight attendant Debbie Welsh was reportedly stabbed.

At 9.32 a.m. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) informed United Airlines headquarters of the flight 93 not responding to radio calls and flight controllers overheard the hijacker telling passengers of a bomb on board. Cleveland flight controller noticed flight 93 climb up 41,000 feet, the assigned altitude being 35,000 feet. At 9.35 a.m. The San Francisco United Airlines maintenance center received a call from an unnamed flight controller reporting of hijack of United Airlines flight 93 and the information is quickly passed on except to NORAD. At 9.36 a.m. flight 93 changed course and turned to head towards Washington and Cleveland flight control wanted to notify NORAD. But NORAD claimed that flight 93 was already being observed. At 9.37 a.m. Jeremy Glick a passenger called up his wife and described the hijackers as Middle Eastern- and Iranian-looking with three of having red headbands.

Tonya Buell stated that at 9.38 a.m. captain of flight 93 informed Cleveland air control of a bomb on board.

The Centre for Cooperative Research on WWW reported that at 9.39 a.m. flight controllers over heard a hijacker warning of bomb on board again, NORAD was not notified yet. At 9.40 a.m. transponder signal of flight 93 was turned off but the flight was tracked by Cleveland flight controller and United Airlines headquarters using primary radar. At 9.41 a.m. a passenger Marion Birtton called up a friend and reported the killing of two co- passengers. At 9.45 a.m. Tom Burnett called up his wife Deena Burnett and told about plans to defeat the hijackers by a group of passengers. At 9.47 a.m. Jeremy Glick informed his wife Lyz of the all the passengers intention to attack the hijackers. At 9.49 a.m. FAA was yet to contact NORAD. At 9.50 a.m. Sandra Bradshaw informed her husband of hijack and intentions of some passengers to fight hijackers with hot water pitchers. At 9.54 a.m. Tom Burnett called up his wife for fourth time and explained a plan to take over the plane. At 9.57 a.m. the battle with hijackers began with sounds of plates and glassware in the cockpit and outside the cockpit being heard from the cockpit voice recorder retrieved later. At 9.58 a.m. fighting continues with Todd Beamer "saying that they plan Ð''to jump' the hijacker in the back of the plane who has the bomb." At 10.00 a.m. hijackers respond to passengers' revolt by rolling the plane sharply to left and right to prevent passengers from reaching the cockpit and finally decide to put it down. At 10.00 a.m. the flight transponder turned on until about 10.03 a.m. and the plane is at 7,000 feet. At 10.00 a.m. Elizabeth Wainio called up her step mother saying "Mom, they're rushing the cockpit. I've got to go. Bye,"

At 10.02 a.m. the cockpit voice recording ends with hijackers at controls and judging that the passengers were only seconds away from overcoming them. 10.03 a.m. to 10.10 a.m. seven minute discrepancy about the exact timing of crash and also breaking up of the flight before crashing, due to conflicting reports of finding the debris at a considerable distance away from the actual crash site.

A US Army authorized seismic study determined the timing of crash at five seconds past 10:06 a.m. of United Airlines flight 93 into Pennsylvania Countryside (Shanksville).
