True Lies Film Analysis

The emotional rollercoaster which is Billy Elliot sketches out the lives of an eleven year old boy and his family whose lives have been turned upside down by the recent strike of the coal miners which his father Jackie and his brother Tony is part of. Though the film contains some disturbingly cheesy dance routines the film is about more than a British kid that does ballet as it shows us the delicate family relation in the household Billy lives in, especially after the recent death of Billy’s mother whose grave he visits regularly.

The side plots are also believable and the characters get developed making you feel close to them because of the high-quality acting skills shown. The story of True Lies’ starts of with many different effects enabling us to anaylise the first scene of the film. Arnie is the first character introduced and the genre of the film is immediately introduced as action as Arnie is swimming through a freezing lake to what looks like a formal, private party or gathering to the viewer, this keeps the viewer hooked onto the scene as it puts them is suspense about Arnie and if he is breaking in the party/planning to crash it. Arnie has been in films such as Terminator’
