SWOT Analysis

The business plan I chose to discuss is the Sagebrush Sam's "a steak buffet". Samuel Brooks is the principal owner; his intention is to offer ownership on equity, debt, or both to expand Sagebrush Sam's into one of the best known national restaurant chain. The Sagebrush Sam's restaurant offers full line of varies food, including USDA choice sirloin steaks cooked over a mesquite-grill. With an open concept of the grill working in the middle of the restaurants for all customers can see their steak being cooked to their perfection. This restaurant will offer all-you-can-eat for one price, variety of foods, entertaining surroundings, and friendly employees. The SWOT analysis offers insight into strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that could take place by owning and operating a business of this kind.

Strengths

dining/entertainment too reach their all time goal. Another point for this establishment is that the restaurant will be big enough to hold 300 to 400 customers to bring out the family oriented eating experience. They will have a competitive edge on other restaurants by offering one fixed price per meal, with no tipping of servers, which will save the average customer 10 to 15% on their dining experience. As well as 25% less employees than others because there's no need for servers, for its all self-serve buffet this will have an edge on making more of a profit.

Opportunities

This plan of having a self-serve buffet of quality steaks and varies other foods, gives them the opportunity to profit more because of not having to staff as many employees. By using prototype specifications, such as high visibility, easy access, state-of-the-art equipment, and authentic western décor will help prosper the opportunity to be successful. As of right now their best opportunity is that they are the only restaurant with the insight mesquite grill, with top quality USDA sirloin steak. By having a self-serve line will cut cost of employees giving them the opportunity to be more profitable than the others. The growth of these buffet style restaurants will offer opportunity to expand nation-wide and become the over-all
