Bob,

Hi there. I just wanted to drop you a quick line. I haven't forgotten about you. Life has been pretty hectic. I've been trying to sell the restaurant, run the restaurant and raise a toddler.

I hope you and Vance have been doing well. Yes, it is a shame that Coward has been so irresponsible with him, but if he wasn't being negligent you would have to deal with all his games. I know you've never walked in my shoes, but from where I'm standing I would much rather deal with irresponsibility and negligence than all his mind games concerning Will. I have a sixteen-page journal on all the lies, deceptions, games and commonness Coward has put us through. Will is a mere pawn in his games and Coward only loves him to the extent he is capable of which isn't much considering that most of his love is preoccupied with loving himself. Coward only wants to be the superstar with Will. He wants Will to go bonkers over him, but when it comes to taking care of him (physically or financially) or promoting Will's good behavior he is nowhere to be found. You are fortunate not to have suffered through this--I do not wish it on my worst enemy.

My fear at this time is that Vance may feel less important because Coward spends some time with Will, but not with him. I'm certain you are a capable and caring mother; please help him understand that this is not so--our situations are so different, but yet the same. During my pregnancy Coward was extremely negligent toward me mentally & emotionally. He would not speak of the baby I was carrying. Looking back, I truly believe he would have also abandoned us if we weren't married and in business together.

I hope I do not sound too bitter; it is hard not to be at times. I know that eventually my son and I will move past this phase of our lives and come out stronger on the other side. I am already ten times the mother I would have been without this experience--that is what I have to be thankful for.

I would like Vance and Will to get together when Vance comes to our city. I also look forward to meeting you in person--I enjoyed talking to you on the phone despite what we were discussing. Let me know when you are coming this way. I have included pictures of Coward for Vance.

Best regards,
