Netflix is a company that now leads to more than one billion hours of TV shows and movies a month to those in 40 different countries. Established in 1997, the production of internet subscription services that offer movies and TV shows has become an instantaneous hit with the consumers. With unlimited full access to shows anytime, anywhere, and on almost every internet-connected screen available, with the ability to play, pause, and commercial free, it is hard to understand while people would choose otherwise. With such a beneficial product it makes coming up with a marketing strategy fairly simple. Marketing this multiuse product that can be placed anywhere with internet access makes the appeal greater for those globally, all for the same low price. Coming up with marketing tactics offers a 24-hour customer service hotline that answers any questions or take in feedback those subscribers may have. Allowing this service as well gives the marketing company an insight of what the customers want next.

Netflix has adopted in a customer starter service for free. Yes, for free the first 30 days a customer can get unlimited access to their services with no contract obligation. After the first 30 days a subscriber can do nothing and continue their services for a small monthly price of $7.99 and no early termination fee it is theirs. This process is much easier than dealing with any other service provider. Although, if a subscriber is trying to cancel earlier than when the month is up they do not get reimbursed. Due to such a cheap cost, it makes marketing their services extremely easy and most people are more than willing to save money on products and services they feel they over pay on every month. With more than 33 million streaming globally marketing over the internet is the best way to reach their future customers. Since internet is used for marketing their deal of $7.99 a month it can reach the most amount of people around the world than say a TV commercial at the same cost of advertisement. Using the internet also allows future subscribers to see how easy it is to run shows by simply having the internet available and a TV commercial simply shows viewers how cheap the same service can and should be.
