They are many famous golfers in the world, but the one that got my attention the most was the famous golfer Nancy Lopez. She has won many tournaments and three major championships.

Nancy Lopez was born on January 6, 1957 in Torrance, California. She went to the University of Tulsa for two years. She left college after her sophomore year and turned professional in 1977. She's fifty-six years old. She lives in Albany, Georgia, divorced with three daughters name Ashley, Erinn and Torri. She retired in 2003 and unretired in 2007.

Lopez's amateur career started when she won the New Mexico Women's Amateur at the age of 12, and the U.S. Girl's Junior in 1972 and 1974, at the ages of 15 and 17. Lopez was named All-American and Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) National Championship and was a member of the U.S. Curtis Cup and World Amateur teams. She started at a young age but still made her way up without no one stopping her. However, there was more to come.

Lopez professional began in 1978, when in her first full season on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) tour, she won nine tournament and five tournament in a row. She won the Vare Trophy for lowest scaring average, LPGA Rookie of the year, LPGA Player of the Year and was named Associated Press Female Athlete of the Year. Also, she won another eight times in 1979 and multiple times each year from 1980 to 1984.

Lopez had a little bit of distractions coming. She played only half seasons in 1983 and 1984 due to the birth of her first child Ashley. After giving birth she started playing again in 1985. Lopez won five times, five seconds and five thirds. She also won the money title, the scoring title and the player of the year. She was also named Associate Press Female Athlete of the year for the second time. However, she played only four tournaments in 1986, when her second daughter Erinn was born, she came back even better. She won multiple times in 1987 and 1989 three times each year and once again won player of the year honors in 1988. After a while her schedule was busier than ever. When her third daughter Torri was born in the early 1990s. After having her three daughters, in 1992, she won twice and she continue to play short schedules
