I am from Pakistan and I immigrated to the U.S about 5 years ago. I have noticed that Pakistan immigration is still going on till this day. People have heard how well people are doing in the U.S so they've applied for a visa and started immigrating. There are many unique contributions they've made and there are also a variety of reasons why they came.

It is open to anyone who wants to come. Last year, Congress women Sheila Jackson came and talked to us. We felt very special and were delighted.

Many Pakistani people have adapted to their new lives in America by changing their accent from British English to American English. They have tried to adjust to the job system in which they have to work extremely hard to get paid well. Even though Pakistani people did not know much when they came here such
