Homosexuals

As a Christian I do not think that you are born like this. I think that you choose your sexual orientation and beyond that it is just the person making excuses for the way they are. The evidence was not convincing, yes he had a marriage and children but I think he just wanted kids and so he married her had the kids and all along he wanted to be gay. If Christians did acknowledge such evidence I still don't believe it would put homosexuals off the hook because there are biblical terms that say homosexuality is an abomination and should be killed.

I'm not exactly sure what kind of advice I would give to a homosexual who wants to change. I am not for it at all but then again there is no point for a gay person to try and get married and have kids if there going to end up divorcing there wife and abandoning there children for a man. I guess I would tell him to seek help and try and keep a steady girlfriend without the marriage commitment and see if that will help turn his train of thought around.

Being ex gay is totally different than ex-black or ex-white. To be ex-white or black is not a sin. To be ex-gay is something that sticks with you. In the bible it tells you not to lay with another man. So as you can see ex-gay is nothing near being ex-white or black.

As a Christian I believe that you are not to hate any. Gay or lesbian my chose is to love them but hate there sin. They think that there sin cannot be separated from the personhood but if that is not done that we as Christians cannot love them. I don't think there is anyway to carry out that message in a way that draws people. Just because we believe that homosexual behavior is a sin does not mean we are homophobic.

Homophobic is being afraid to be near a homosexual and has nothing to do with how we think of a homosexual in the religious field. If a gay or lesbian called me a homophobe I would tell them that I have no problem being around you but the bible says that homosexuality is a sin and the bible's word is the word of god and no other is thinkable.
