DEBATE - AGAINST

The House believes that higher education should be free of charge for all

I'd start with the point that, contemporary humans live in a world where education is a financially worthwhile commencement. Higher education is required from everyone, who is aiming to achieve a successful career and earn a decent amount of money by utilizing his own cluster of knowledge.

So, should people consider it just to invest money in the prospective social development of their youngsters? Every parent requests the best education for his child and therefore expects that teaching process will be led by qualified and experienced professors. Nevertheless, when it comes to payment, the idea is not treated with acceptance and is argued upon.

Allow me to state some of the main reasons why should High education be paid and to expose the advantageous side of the problem.

It is anthropologically proven that humans are social creatures and that they can only survive within the limits of a certain gathering of individuals. Universities are such institutions that provide the appropriate environment for the integration of adolescents in society. Graduate students usually aren't very determined about their education and need external influence in order to achieve satisfying academic results. One of the advantages of tuition fees is that they help students to organize their time properly so that they can finish their degree as scheduled. Prolongation of the studies would cost them more financial losses and would also delay their exposure to the job market. Therefore tuition fees contribute to the strengthening of student's motivation.

Another aspect is that the qualification of the teaching staff depends on the amount of money you are willing to offer in order to dispose of their knowledge. Deriving from this statement, one can easily conclude that tuition fees are an essential part of Higher education.
