Jay Gatsby's attraction towards Daisy is the most significant thing in his life. He would do anytihng out of the ordinary to get her to love him back.

From the first time Jay Gatsby met Diasy, he has been attracted to her ever since and Gatsby wants to win her back since these years. When Gatsby wa a young military officer, he met Daisy for the first time and fell in love with her because of her charm, richness, and grace. He also had to lie to her about his background because he wanted to make her think that he was good enough for her. He was destined to get back Daisy so he can haver her all to himself. Gatsby devoted himself to improving his background to being rich as he had told Daisy that he was, and bought a mansion in West Egg, which he holds parties every week. He held parties at his mansion hoping one day that Daisy would go to it and that Gatsby and Daisy would be reunited once again since the time Gatsby left to go to the war. Gatsby's attraction for Daisy is beyond from what is expected. He loves Daisy no matter what. Nothing would turn him off from Daisy. One time when Daisy had somewhat a sore throat, that lead to an odd voice that Daisy projected. When Gatsby heard the voice, he thought it was more beautiful than ever, it caused him to love Daisy even more. Gatsby would give up anything just for her and take any blame for her. When Daisy and Gatsby were driving back home from the city, Daisy accidentally hit a bystander on the way. In preventing Daisy from getting in trouble, Gatsby comes in and takes all the blame for her, showing how much he loves her. His attraction for Daisy is the only thing he cares about and nothing else.
