Teenagers nowadays do not really pay attention to the world that revolves around them. This unbecoming behaviour is a result of apathy towards the events since they are trapped in their own narrow-minded lifestyle. Most teenagers waste most of their time doing things that are unable to develop their abilities. Moreover, their perspective towards school is that it is not essential for their future and hence they take it for granted. Therefore, albeit being a teenager myself, I agree with the statement that teenagers really do not know what to do with their lives.

The most crucial issue here is that teenagers nowadays lack guidance. Parents and teachers fail to instil in students the importance of school which is essential for their future careers. Some actually know what they want to do with their lives and start their journey of sculpting their future at a very early age. They go for tuition and extra classes and get involved in competitions and tournaments in their schools. They mix with the right group of friends and will study hard to eventually gain a scholarship to do a course that they have been eyeing
