Becoming a Forbes Fortune 500 company is a huge accomplishment. Your company has to making huge profits on the company's sales. Getting on the Fortune 500 list is a difficult task. The list has the top 500 North American companies according to revenue, how much money they make profit.

People all over the world are familiar with the computer company Dell. This company offers superior service and product quality to people from all over the world. With technology expanding, Dell has adapted to the changing times by developing an appropriate business system. By offering direct purchasing and removing the middleman Dell's customer receive exceptional and personalized service. So, how do they do it? They have adapted certain techniques that have allowed them to become such a successful company. Dell has a simple mission statement, which is to be the best computer company in the world. They have chosen objectives and goals that cater to the company and the employees. These goals are realistic and achievable for company and the employees, which is the key. Dells numerous computer models range in price from a couple of hundred dollars to thousands of dollars, giving people so much flexibility to purchase just what each individual needs for their use. Michael Dell founder of the company has built himself a top of the line leader in computers and accessories worldwide. Dell is the type of company that will be around from a long time, its stock price since the late 1980's has been on a rise with minor changes but nothing that will break anyone financially. Dell is a great company and a world leader in all aspects of business.

Kevin Rollins replaced Michael Dell in 2004 as Dell's Chief Executive Officer. Dell remained the company's Chairman. Despite founder Dell's massive success, new blood and a change in management thinking could lead Dell into a new, even more profitable period. Dell was born in 1965,
