If You Speech Self Evaluation

In my “If You Speech”, I lost track of time and didn’t get to spend a lot of time preparing and practicing. I was always told, “excuses are not a defense” so I won’t make an excuse for what I feel is a poorly, “If You” speech. It’s actually quite hard for me to watch it over and over again. I practiced as much as possible to memorize the speech. I selected a location to relocate too, in hopes of it being an easier topic. I wanted to be confident with my topic and what I wanted to say. I recorded my speech about three or four times and I replayed it over and over again to get better each time.

I only used one personal example, “I buy my wine in bulk,” to back up the information when I should have used more. Playing back my recording I wished I would have used some visual aids of the beach or wine, to get my message across without taking away from the speech. My speech overall to me, is boring!

On my next speech, I will make sure to improve on my delivery. My goal is not to bore the audience
