Why the Philippines is a big failure?

Philippines is sought to fail, cursed, doomed, ill-fated, and hapless even if it has so much resources that the other countries are jealous for. The government is not only the sole responsible for the crisis of the Philippines, but also the people. If the reasons to be mentioned are not changed and improved, even after thousands of years from now, this country will only be worse than better.

People may blame the government and corruption as the main factor why the Philippines is a failure, but the Filipinos are the ones to blame. Here’s why:

Too much Democracy and Freedom on Everything

Since Marcos was ousted, followed by Estrada due to “People Power”, the democracy for us has too much loopholes. With people who doesn’t think what comes after the ‘Ousting’, we became a laughingstocks and milking cows.

Colonial Mentality

We believe that foreign products are much better than our local products. Lots of local business have closed or struggled because of this mentality

Improper Mindset and too much Religion

Even if “God loves the poor”, “God love the ones who sacrifice”,”Pope Fancis is Champion of Poor”, being “the poor” does not help the economy and feeds one’s family.

Indolence, Laziness, Ignorance, and Discipline

Why wait for tomorrow if you can do it today? We have so many ‘tambay’ in the Philippines who don’t do things enough or right but just blame the government why are they ‘tambay’.

Modernization

Modernization does not always results to progress. Turning a 10-hectare field the produces 30 tons of rice every year into a subdivision is moving backwards.

Lack of Entrepreneurial Spirit

It’s so very hard to become rich being an employee whole life(unless due to bribery and corruption). Have your own business, big or small, so you earn much more.

Education, Tradition, Culture

The Philippines have high literacy rate compared to other third world countries, but education affected by tradition and culture is also a main problem, due to lack of opportunities and unplanned educations.

Government Priorities

The government should prioritize building more local jobs rather than sending people abroad because in a long term basis, the OFW thing would not help our economy.

Political Dynasties and Corruption

Hernando Perez $2 billion bribe money, Macapagal Boulevard, Jose Pidal, Renato Corona, and Jose Velarde bank accounts, Fertilizer Scam, LRT, Euro Generals, ZTE Scams, Pabaon, Binay mansion, and Pork Barrel Scam.
