"What is fair for one should be fair for all?"

I do agree with this statement, but does it always work out this way? If you get caught speeding, or doing something that you are not supposed too, you need to take the consequences. People might think it is wrong to take consequences because have a reason why they are doing it. For example stealing, some say they do it because they do not have the money to buy it, others do it to see if they can get away with it. If they get caught either way both should be punished the same. Some do tend too get away with their actions for several reasons, having money for a lawyer, first timers, under some kind of influence of someone, anything just to get away with it. If you get caught they should be punished, no special treatment for anyone. People think that any reason is a good reason to get away with things, it really isn't, if you are not following the laws and rules you need to step up and take consequences.

I see no reasons why some people get away with anything just because they know someone that can help them, or if they just have a lot of money and buy there way out of something. How will you ever learn from your mistakes if you never take the consequences that come with it. If someone else gets away with the same thing how will it stop occurring?
