Using Windows 2000

With all of these new advancements, most enterprises were ready to take it easy once the upgrade has been completed, but one must remember that technology, as well as Microsoft, keeps evolving.

As for the future of Windows 2000 Server coming to an end, support for both IE 5.01 SP3 and IE 6 SP1 on Windows 2000 SP3 will expire. Networks that are running Windows 2000 SP4, in order to continue to receive security updates, move from mainstream to extended support.
