"Theodore Roosevelt, President" was an essay written by Edmund Morris describing the life, and personality of Theodore Roosevelt. Morris starts off by saying the "short order" of Roosevelt's faults. Roosevelt had decreased the wildlife population in many continents around the world and he acted like he was six years old because he always desired to destroy his opponents.

Roosevelt was one of the first presidents to have a positive outlook on everything, was friendly but also tough and funny. Edmund Morris lists the metaphors that people used to describe Theodore Roosevelt. Some metaphors are "radio active", "electromagnetic nimbus" "TNT" and "a steam-engine in trousers". These metaphors describe the president's physical impact he left on people. His youthfulness, health and handshakes combined helped him give that impression away. "In many ways the quality of his personality was more remarkable than its quantity", this quote describes how Theodore's personality was the phenomenon. Theodore was sweet- hearted and affectionate and a lot of people couldn't resist him. Roosevelt never used bad language but he always loved the fun of hating. Roosevelt always had humor in him and someone calculated that he laughed 100 times a day

Theodore Roosevelt was an immense achiever. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University. He was the author of a four volume book and was a world expert on the subject of the "naval war of 1812". He also wrote biographies and about fourteen volumes of history, literary, autobiographies and etc. He read about three books a day and memorizing the paragraphs that most interested him. He knew many languages, for example; English German, and French. He was a colonel of the Rough Riders. And was also governor, vice president and also a president. He did all this in his first forty three years. He was the youngest man to ever be president back at that time.
