The Enchanted Forest

The roses flourished early one morning in the forest of Torus. As the birds chirped and sang the pixies awoke and felt the cool breeze sweep across the backs of their necks. The forest was a magical place with the most captivating creatures you have ever laid your eyes upon. The pixies, however, were most enchanting and they had a most impressive power. They could sense danger and protect themselves by surrounding themselves in a circle of magical strawberries which turned them invisible to the enemy.

"What can we do today?" enquired the youngest pixie of them all, Caleb.

"I know, we can go for a walk along the berry trees." announced Rose, the leader and most powerful pixie of them all.

"That sounds like an awesome idea," all of them agreed.

"Ok, lets head off then."

They left right that minute.

Meanwhile, Daphne, a young girl, was walking in the forest in search of blueberries. She was sitting down next to a tree when she heard a rustling in the bushes next to her. Daphne turned around and she saw some tiny little pixies walking through the leaves.

Rose was holding her head, "I can sense a Hopypython coming. It is a big, long snake-like sort of animal that hunts only the smallest of creatures, like us. Just don't panic because this enchanted circle will make us transparent to the enemy."

Half an hour past and Daphne realised she had to head home. The pixies turned around to talk to her. She was gone. They could see her about 20 meters away from the circle. Caleb ran out not thinking about the consequences.

"DAPHNE stop the Hopypython will tear you to shreds." Caleb cried out her name again but she just didn't listen and kept running.

"I'll be okay," screamed Daphne, "I just need to get home to my mother, the python thing wont get me don't worry about that."

At that point Caleb ran out of the enchanted circle and after Daphne.

"WAIT CALEB, ARE YOU CRAZY?" Rose shrieked. Then, one after the other, the pixies ran out after each other. Eventually Rose ran out because
