Executive Summary

Telenor Cellular Operator is planning to launch its operations in Pakistan on August 14th 2006 as the 1st GM 900 Mobile Operator.

Telenor has signed a multi-million dollars contract with VendCom (an International Telecom Vendor) for the deployment of its GSM Network.

VendCom has outsourced the site preparation / Civil Works and Installation of Telecommunication Equipment to SABRAN Contractors for site on the outskirts of Islamabad and on Highways.

The contract between SABRAN & VendCom will be executed on Turnkey basis i.e. hand over of fully functional Base Station in all respects to integrate with the rest of the network by mid-June.

Scope of this Document

This document covers the planning, deployment and Civil works of only one Base Station site located on the outskirts of Islamabad.
