I. introduction

Hi my name is Claudia and I am going to give my informative speech on 2 deferent programs to create digital art. I picked this topic because as an artist I love exploring different ways to crate art.

II. Body

A. Adobe Photoshop

The firs program is Adobe Photoshop is a graphic editor program. According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adobe_Photoshop , "It is considered the industry standard in most jobs related to the use of visual elements." This program allows you to get a picture and change it in many different ways. you can also use many different pictures to create one final art peace. This process is called Photo manipulation. For example(show visual aid now). I love to use this program because sometimes one wants to capture something in an art peace but drawing it does not give it that full effect one wants. That is when photo shop comes in and it allows you to experiment with so much and it gives your art work a realistic feel to it. Which brings me to my next subject

B. Maya

The program Maya is a high-end 3D modeling software. This program is what the leading 3D animation companies are using in the industry. In this softwere you can use 2 difernt kings of modeling which

are "nurbs" and "plolyes". The diference between these is that nurbs gives a more soft rounded look and polyes gives a more squere look. another featur that this prigram has is that it allows you to create the lighting that is perfect for your peace. Althouth this program is used for animation, one can use it to create an art peace. For example (show visual aid now) after you have modeled something you can simply take a snap shot of any angle and get a wonderful product.

III. Conclusion

Today I have given you some information on 2 different programs that you can use to create wonderful art. Thank you for listening and remember art is not created in just a peace of paper.
