Briefly describe your company and then benchmark the codes of conduct used by similar companies in the industry. Critique the codes of conduct of at least three (3) similar companies in order to write codes for your company.

My company THE PLACE BANQUET Rental Services Limited is a medium-large size company which is a public corporation that provides rental spaces for meetings and special events for businesses, parties and weddings. Our goal is to become the largest rental company while making sure are customers receive the highest level of customer service as well as making their event a memorable one. The Place Rental Services Limited is strongly dedicated in good corporate citizenship and has established Ethical business conduct which is critical to our business. PLACE BANQUET Rental Services Limited has a code of conduct that is specifically tailored for our employee and it is the responsibility of each employee is to respect and adhere to the practices in of this document. Many of these practices reflect legal or regulatory requirements sand violations of these laws and regulations can create significant liability for us.

For most other rental business, their code of conduct is focus on the customers, it tells what can be done at the facility whiles you rent, what to and not to do with rules and regulations however we believe our customers are very important part of our business there for needs to do anything to make them came back thus our code of conduct ensure our employees represent us the best possible way. For THE PLACE BANQUET, its directors, officers, and other employees, failure to adhere this Code of Business Conduct and Ethics or other company policies or procedures by THE PLACE BANQUET employees can lead to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

Analyze ways ethical challenges affect your business and create a code of conduct for your company. Provide a rationale on how these specific codes enhance your company's ethics program.

Business leaders know that one of the ethics issues every company faces is the honesty and integrity of employees. Fairness and honesty are big issues, a very complex dilemma especially if this will somehow hurt the business. Since ethics are moral issues, thus making a decision that will have negative effect on the company is going to be tough for the person who will be making the decision. An individual can make either a right or wrong decision, depending on how it will affect his life and work status. In view of the fact that ethics are moral issues your beliefs and values will definitely be tested.

Everyone will always have their own concept of righteousness; therefore a one definition of business ethics can be difficult. Moral standards are created by home environment, religious beliefs and traditions and thus making ethics hard to define, but not impossible to make. A code of conduct is a company's voluntary belief in a set of morals, standards and proper behavior for its operations, enforced by the business's leaders. The code of conduct not only governs the behavior of the organization, but also helps create a group of professional attitudes. As a condition of employment all employee of THE PLACE BANQUEST FACILITY the undersign employee will abide by the following rule of conduct:

Build Trust and Credibility

The success of our business is dependent on the trust and confidence we earn from our employees, customers and shareholders. We gain credibility by adhering to our commitments, displaying honesty and integrity and reaching company goals solely through honorable conduct.

Respect for the Individual

We all deserve to work in an environment where we are treated with dignity and respect. THE PLACE BANQUEST FACILITY is committed to creating such an environment because it brings out the full potential in each of us, which, in turn, contributes directly to our business success. We cannot afford to let anyone's talents go to waste. THE PLACE BANQUEST FACILITY is an equal employment/affirmative action employer and is committed to providing a workplace that is free of discrimination of all types from abusive, offensive or harassing behavior. Any employee who feels harassed or discriminated against should report the incident to his or her manager or to human resources.

Create a Culture of Open and Honest Communication

At THE PLACE BANQUEST FACILITY everyone should feel comfortable to speak his or her mind, particularly with respect to ethics concerns. Managers have a responsibility to create an open and supportive environment where employees feel comfortable raising such questions. We all benefit tremendously when employees exercise their power to prevent mistakes or wrongdoing by asking the right questions at the right times. THE PLACE BANQUEST FACILITY will investigate all reported instances of questionable or unethical behavior. In every instance where improper behavior is found to have occurred, the company will take appropriate action. We will not tolerate retaliation against employees who raise genuine ethics concerns in good faith.

Set Tone at the Top

To make our Code work, managers must be responsible for promptly addressing ethical questions or concerns raised by employees and for taking the appropriate steps to deal with such issues.
