1)What does sexual harassment mean to u?

It means that someone says something having a sexual connotation to another person with the intent to offend or initiate sexual actions.

2)What do u feel the punishment for sexual harassment should be ?

Mandatory sexual harassment classes

3)Where do u feel the line between flirting and sexual harassment?

- Any time when a sexual act or innuendo is implied.

4)Do u think it is viewed differently if a female sexually harasses

a male as compared to a male harassing

a female, and what differences might u think happen?

-Yes, i think that when a female sexually harasses a male the rules aren't quite as stringent as when a man sexually harasses a woman.

5)Have u ever been sexually harassed

?

Yes , i have.

This man i interviewed seemed well informed about what sexual harassment is. He gave well educated answers and had strong feelings towards each answers. I agreed with most of his answers except i feel there should be more to the punishment of sexual harassment. Some people don't take the sexual harassment class seriously they think it is a joke that will get them out of the charges against them easily.

21yr old male

1)What does sexual harassment mean to u?

-Unwanted and/or unwelcome behavior of a sexual nature.

2)what do u feel the punishment for sexual harassment should be?

-First a warning should be issued from the victim to the harasser like "don't do that it makes me uncomfortable" if its something simple like smelling someones hair or touching their shoulder, for more severe cases legal pursuit, fines, fired from job etc.....

3)Where do u feel the line between flirting and sexual harassment is?

-If it makes the person uncomfortable.

4)Do u think it is viewed differently if a female sexually harasses

a male as compared to a male harassing

a female, and what differences might u think happen?

-It happens but its more heard of that women are sexually harassed

, as for the differences part i don't know.

5)Have you ever been sexually harassed

?

-No.

This male had good views on the topic but could not come up with any ways sexual harassment differs between the sexes. What he thinks may be flirting may be different then what a women may feel he did seem to be in tune with bother sides of the spectrum.

18yr old female

1)What does sexual harassment mean to u?

-It means any unwanted sexual advance, and it's up to the victim's interpretation.

2)What do u feel the punishment for sexual harassment should be?

-Perhaps like a probation kind of workshop. You should have to take a sensitivity class,but for physical sexual harassment you should be on probation for another year after you complete the class.

3)Where do u feel the line between flirting and sexual harassment is?

-Once the victim feels uncomfortable, says no, or stops flirting back.

4) Do u think it is viewed differently if a female sexually harasses

a male as compared to a male harassing

a female, and what differences might u think happen ?

-I think that men have less leeway. They can say something that a female might take more offense to ,than if a female said the same thing to a male .

Yes.

I can notice the difference is answers between female and male, this woman was more descriptive in basically every sense. While the males gave well informed knowledgeable answer the female here was more personal and sensitive with her answers. She sees it
