Pocket Knifes should be illegal in the streets of the UK because they would most probably use it for stabbing people or scaring people. Innocent people's lives are in sake because the percentage of knife crime has increased by a lot. Some youths believe that stabbing is the only solution to everything. Pocket knifes are easily available for people to carry on the streets and 99% of the people get away with it.
My idea to stop it is to be given severe punishments to the people that committed the knife crime is by giving them a death penalty. My other solution was of stopping it is by making the police go to every school is the united kingdom and also bringing along parents or friends of the people that died from a knife crime and giving them lectures about why it is bad to do such a crucial crime, this would also make the children think twice before committing a crime.
