In the modern society, people enjoy traveling around the world which means they must find a hotel in which they want to stay in. There are two kinds of the hotels for people to select. One is internationally-recognized hotels which are more advanced; another is small local hotels.

There are the differences between the internationally-recognized hotel and the small local one. The hotels are divided into different star systems (star rating descriptions), which are a common shorthand to distinguish hotels in different levels. It is believed that the internationally-recognized hotels are 5-star hotels, which is more reasonable, convenient and safer to use than others. Amenities typically include gourmet dining, luxury spas, and full-service health clubs with lavish locker rooms. The features would include upgraded check-in, a welcome amenity, and butler service on all or select floors. There are several aspects of features which 5-star hotels should include.

The guestroom decor is often elegant and may include coordinated fabrics on drapes, chairs, headboards, and duvets. Secondly, the over-sized bathrooms are often clad in marble, with premium, custom-built features, dual-sink vanities, enclosed toilets, premium spa-brand toiletries, and fresh flowers or live plants. There are some obvious differences between internationally-recognized hotels and small local hotels.
