Kudler Fine Foods is an upscale specialty food store that is located in San Diego, California.  Kudler Fine Foods was founded by Kathy Kudler in 1998 and the first store was opened on June 18,1998.There are three stores and the locations are in La Jolla (Store & Home Office), Del Mar and Encinitas.

The network consists of all stores connected together by a T3 dedicated line. The network is setup on a bus network topology. The home office and store in La Jolla and the Del Mar and Encinitas are all on a 100 base T environment.  The main server (La Jolla) for Kudler and the Del mar and Encinitas are on an IBM blade server system C3000 on an UNIX operating system. The server runs the corporate SAP ERP SW, which has all the print/file services, the email, storage control and the web. The server is also backed up with a 10TB NAS.

The entire backbone has a 5KVA APD UPS that provides power backup the system in La Jolla, Del Mar and Encinitas. The stores operations use NCR Real POS 82XRt POS terminals.  The La Jolla main network and the Del/Mar and Encinitas locations have two Cisco routers and firewalls with an inter-store dedicated network with a separate 25Mbps link to the Ethernet at all three locations.

 There are nineteen corporate management and other admin personnel that use Dell Vostro computers and the admins also use 3 HP networked printers.  There are also nineteen VOIP phones at the La Jolla location.

The Del Mar and Encinitas stores have six administration personnel that use Dell Vostro computers and a HP LaserJet multifunction, networked printer. There are also six VOIP phones at each of the two locations.
