Mariah Carey

Every year there is a new addition to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The nominee's requirements is mostly based on hardships they have , popularity, and their influences on things and people around them. Sp my nominee for this years Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artist is someone that has filled all those requirements above and beyond what has been needed, and still has the power and strength to still be even better now days, that person is Mariah Carey. When growing up Mariah Carey was just beginning her music career. The thing i enjoy most about Mariah is her voice, its very unique, smooth, loud, and very recognizable due to its tempo and highness in her music.

Mariah Carey sings multiple genres of music including pop, R&B, hip-hop. While singing each of those genres she makes it worth wanting to be heard, whether she changes her tempo or even adding her trademark, high note, in the chorus. With that said she is my role model just for that reason. She also has many different types of songs that relate to many people including love, payback, regret, having fun, recovering from something, etc. Mariah Carey ahs always influenced many where ever and whatever she does. One of the biggest things she has influenced around the world to many young children and teens who dream of becoming artists when they grow up is by being a role model for them to look up to and by having them strive to work hard to get where she is today by doing what she does the best she can. Mariah has also influenced many by her most popular trademark, the high note. Mariah had used her talent to her advantage to make a name for herself in the music world, so far she is the only artist, that i know of, that can hit it in her music and pull it off with flying colors. By using that part of her talent she has influenced many other artists to attempt to hit that note and pull it off, even though none of them have succeeded in the process it is amazing to see just how many have tried. With that said i do have to say Mariah has brought a new meaning to pop, R&B, and Hip-Hop around the world with he talents.

Many artists go through hardships during their career and the bad part about that is once it happens most of them can never bounce back or recover.
