Jung, freedom vs. determinism, rating 4. Explanation: The structure of personality has a complex network of systems that include the ego, personal unconscious, and the collective unconscious. These three systems constantly work together within the person in trying to achieve harmony.

Jung, hereditary vs. environmental, rating 3. Explanation: The ego, according to Jung, is one's conscious mind that selects which perceptions, feelings, and memories are allowed to enter. It is the ego that is responsible for how we perceive ourselves.

Jung, uniqueness vs. universality, rating 5. Explanation: Jung's concept on the collective unconscious joins people together by dreams, mythology, and cross-cultural data. Human beings are born with various emotions that are found in various societies and have specific archetypes that have universal meaning. The way they interpret or how they express these meanings may vary but the same emotions are shared.

Jung, proactive vs. reactive, rating 3. Explanation: There are specific psychological types that encompass two basic attitudes and four basic functions. Together, they form eight psychological types with much variation and help distinguish human beings apart from one another but can also group them together depending on certain criteria.

Jung, optimistic vs. pessimistic, rating 1. Explanation: During adolescence, a process known as self-realization begins to develop personality and major changes occur during the middle years of life. Self realization involves, telos, synchronicity, individuation and transcendence in assisting the individual to try and become better people.
