Objective The goals of the website redesign is to increase the traffic, promoting the brand of the Golden Screen Cinemas, and attract more people to buy the movie screening service provided by GSC through e-booking and also walk-in ticketing. Concept My concept about the GSC website redesign is to give users a very user friendly website. Users can connect their Facebook to GSC website, and has a better visual design, and interaction to engage the users to keep in touching the website. Idea Users can connect their Facebook to GSC website, and they will have a profile page where listed out the movie they watched, and also tagging their friends to share their movie interests. Besides that, the GSC website will track the information from Facebook and get all the information from Facebook, then the website will recommend some movies that users might be interested in the homepage. Example like, elderly will like drama and comedy movies, teenagers who in a relationship will like romance movies, man will like Sci-Fi, action movies. And the website provide sufficient information about the movie, and also movie trailer. By tracking the information, the website system will get the location of the users, and it will suggest the nearest outlet to the users and show the showtime as well as seat availability to the users. The design of the website will look very trendy and high-tech while it also feel entertaining and happening to give a better visual enjoyment to audience. The website will also use some jQuery interactive plug in to give audience better user experience when surfing the GSC website.
