Goals and Dreams

Goals and dreams are an important part of many people's lives today. If it not for dreams, many people would be unhappy at their position in life and would hate their jobs and lifestyle. You see, dreams are what keep us going. You want to become something special as a little kid and if you work hard enough you might get there one day. So there is always a reward for hard work, which is doing something that you love to do or achieving something.

As a little kid, i have always wanted to be a pro athlete. I admire them as they get to play the sport they love and make it their career. Many people look down on them because they see all the money they make and think that they live for material things. This is true to a certain extent, but there are many good things that are being done with money that many athletes donate to different charities, causes, and events. I do realize that only a small handful of people end up making it in the long run but that is what goals and dreams are, and if you work hard enough you just might get that chance one day.

One thing that i would have to do to ensure my dream would be to keep up my grades. Many sensational football players or different athletes are great have all the talent in the world but do not keep their grades up and it ends up coming back to them. By maintaining a standard and a good overall average you are qualified to play in college and even high school and keep your dreams alive. Many dreams are torn apart here because they just do not care and they think things will be handed to them. As you see, goals and dreams are everything. They mean so much to the person and keep us going. If it were not for them, what reason would there be to strive for the best and excel in whatever it may be? Many people do not every get to meet or live their dream for whatever reason and that is a shame, but one thing that will always shine above everything is hard work. There is nothing that tops hard work. Being the best one can be ensures them that they achieve their dream. You never know what might happen and one day i might just get the chance to live my dream if i out work the rest.
