Gilgamesh is a hero in this story .In the beginning tablet Gilgamesh tell as how he went to the underworld and how he remember those how died in the wars that went on in the past he built them a memorial wall and he had every soldiers name written in it that died.

In this tablet it is talking about how Gilgamesh an enkidu fought Humbaba and call him from the paradise he was at .To challenge him in a battle as Gilgamesh was told to do so by Shamash who approved it.

(Ishtar's Revenge: The Bull from Heaven) 6,

In this Tablet is about the angry god Ishtar's how she sends a bull for the heaven to kill Gilgamesh for insulting her, and then the battle between the divine bull and the two friends begin and the war was set "enkidu ask Gilgamesh how they are going to kill such a beast and bring him to his knee" so Gilgamesh and enkidu surround the bull and like a bull dancer Gilgamesh plunged his sword into the throat that was held fast by his friend enkidu. And after the battle Ishtar was angry and told Gilgamesh that her rain on him will not end as she was talking enkidu throw a pieces of the bull meat at her as a sign of defeat.

Gilgamesh was ask why he was so sad by the maid, Gilgamesh told her that he lost a special person in his life and that he want to find a way to travel to the underworld to save his friend and to bring him back to the relm of the living .So the maid tell Gilgamesh that the journy will not be easy for a mortal and that only a god like sharmah can travle a path like this. And that death and choas comes to those that try taking a path such as this one.
