In order to obtain a driver's license, I think that there should be a requirement to obtain a G.P.A of at least 2.5. Many students may argue with this, but they need to learn that this is being done for their benefit. They shouldn't think that because they are old enough to drive, that they are mature enough to drive. They might not be mature enough by not doing school work and may think that they have a right to drive.

This brings me to my point of responsibility. Bring responsible plays an important role in my argument. Students who show that that are not dependable to do their school work prove that they are not dependable to attain a driver's license. Just as you are accountable to maintain a good G.P.A in order to play sports in school, you should be held accountable the have a good G.P.A in order to drive. Students should not be thinking that driving is more significant than school work.

The next point that I have to make is that students should understand that driving is a privilege, not a right. If students are so positive that it is a right, then why can driver's licenses be revoked and taken away? To earn the privilege of driving, the student ought to demonstrate correct behavior in many ways, like doing well in school. They should work towards getting good grades a habit so that they can receive a driver's license.

Learning to drive is convenient, but maintaining a good G.P.A has many more benefits. You can always be taught to drive, but you can't always have the chance to get education from high school. What is the point in knowing how to drive if you don't have a great job to drive to in the future?

When students finally get a hold of a driver's license, they will feel a great sense of accomplishment. They will feel as if they have earned it and that they deserve it. They will also realize that they go to school to get an education, not to learn how to drive. Students will sooner or later have to consent with this and raise their G.P.A, because they'll realize that when they're juniors and seniors, they don't want to be stuck riding a big yellow taxi while the rest of their buddies are going to be driving their cars. So what I'm trying to say is, driving is not all important, but getting a good G.P.A is if you wish to succeed in life.
