In Asia in order to get into tenth grade you have to have a very high g.p.a. Unlike the United States where you can pass with a very low g.p.a. Since middle school and high school sports are a pleasure. To play I believe that you should have to maintain a certain grade point average to participate in the activity. By maintaining, a decent g.p.a, you're not only making yourself better; you're also preparing for the adult world.

The last trait that will help an athlete if they maintain a certain grade point average is discipline. Discipline factors into everyday life its how you use it that makes a difference. Finally, if an athlete can maintain their grade point average hey are becoming better at life. This means they know what to do on and off the court and field. By maintaining your g.p.a you will have the experience of a college student. By having experience you gain a little bit of knowledge of adult hood. Gaining experience will improve you as a leader. Which will eventually give you lessons in life. This is the main reason I believe the principal should make athletes maintain a certain grade point average. It helps them become a better athlete overall.

All in all, I think a certain grade point average should be required for athletes. As an athlete my goal
