1 Cost Efficiency: Dell knows how to cut cost on production by providing excellent strategies of mass production. They created teams that would put a computer unit together, created parts that can easily be assembled cutting down the times a worker touches it, they even “instantaneous build and test” which allowed workers to test and mount a component at the same time while the computer was being assembled rather than finding out in corrections in the unit after it is completed.

1 No Inventory build up- Dell does not stock in inventory. Dell makes their computers when the consumer requests it resulting in no inventory which will cut cost being that the company will not have any left over products they can’t sell.

1 Customization: Dell provides their customers with the computer that fits the individual needs and expectation. Since Dell builds a computer at the time it is order, the consumer can request exactly what they want from a computer such as what processor, how much memory, DVD drive, etc.

1 Internet Sales leader/Pioneers in Use of the internet and E-commerce Technology: Since the world is quickly changing to the internet for shopping for almost everything, Dell has conquered the internet sales industry. This will benefit Dell more in the future because when a consumer wants to purchase a computer online they will be most preferred.

1 Direct to Customers business model: Dell sells directly to the consumer with no retailers as the middleman. This allows Dell to understand what are the consumers needs and expectations which is a huge benefit. They also cut cost by not selling to retailers who will again resale to the consumer. Since they direct sell to the consumer they cut cost, providing better savings for their customers.
