Crevecoeur Letters and the Poem Let America Be America Again

From Crevecoeur Letters, we know that through a series of letters, Crevecoeur illustrates the idealized version of a free society, America . He is so positive about the new land because no landlord and slavery, no autocratic prince or lord, no "absurd ordinances”, and they can find more mild government also peaceable inhabitants than in their europe land that they can't get a real freedom. That situation is important for new imigrant from europe because they can achieve their goals in life through hard work. Through his letters, Crevecoeur tries to create an American identity that it is an attempt to describe an entire country, not merely regional colonies. He is also describe about American tolerance for religious diversity, and the American agriculture is treated generally too.

The Hughes poems talks about the freedom and equality that every immigrant hoped for but never achieved however they are hard work and honesty because the richman with their corporate need to optimize their production with use the techonolgy for eficiency of work..
