A neat and organized lifestyle tends to be beneficial in comparison to a sloppy, disorganized one. The benefits of neatness and organization encompass both your professional and personal life everyday.

Many people are fooled by the illusion that sloppiness leads to an easier, somewhat stress-free lifestyle. I assure you these people are mistaking. Sloppiness and disorganization actually cause stress and problems. A person with a cluttered desk will have a much harder time trying to find a particular paper than someone who took the time to organize a workspace. Not being able to find things is a common problem for people who are disorganized, and as a result, disorganized people are often running late even for the simplest things. Perhaps a person can't find a certain shirt in a pile of laundry, thus making him late for a dinner date with friends. A sloppy person might even miss out on opportunities for jobs as a first impression is crucial to a perspective employer. To make a good impression, one must be on time for an interview, be presentable and be able to portray himself as a together and organized person. It is pretty obvious why a person with a sloppy lifestyle has a harder time accomplishing these things.

The reasons that one would strive to lead a neat and organized lifestyle are rather easy to see. Neat people are more able to focus on the task at hand because there is not clutter surrounding them. An organized person
