Color

Within every individual, there is a spirit that defines who they are and what they stand for. In order for the world to see that individual as a person and not a number, that person has to express themselves. Whether they express through fashion or through cars, or even art; they use color. Everyday people awake to their own colors of life. Everyday people choose color to give an object personality. People can see the colors of life through nature, and that can define an individual spiritually. Color is more than the Crayola box of twenty four crayons; Color defines beauty and self image.

Color is nature. With color, people can see the seasons change. For summer, people often associate the season with bright colors. And when it turns to fall, everyone recognizes the oranges and yellows. Everything tones down in the fall. All the colors become a little darker, hearty, and full of life. When the season changes to winter, a lot of colors seem to disappear. But, during this season, color tends to come from the people; the rosy red cheeks from the cold and the fair skins. When spring arrives, the colors that come to mind are greens and yellows. This season brings color back into the world. The colors help to bring growth and new life. Nature is our life setting, and without the colors to define nature, our lives would just mesh.

Colors in nature aren’t the only colors that define. Without color in our souls, we wouldn’t stand out as individuals. Within every person there is brightness and darkness. Without color, we wouldn’t be able to decipher each other’s personalities or feelings. When someone is in high spirits, everyone knows. A burst of color just shoots out. They have color in their face and in their eyes. When someone is sad or lonely, it is easy to see their darkness. Instead of being filled with color, they remain with just blacks and whites. As you look into their eyes, you see nothing but emptiness. When you pass them on streets, they look frail and ashen. Color in the soul is very powerful. It is the power that makes you who you are.

Not only is color used in our souls, but also in our possessions. As we live our lives, day in and day out, not everyone notices the amount of color that a single person uses to express themselves.
