Dear Mr. Jackson

Subject: Leather Strap Mishap

Please check your products before you ship them out to verify that they meet the standards that you require them to be.

The leather that we bought from you is not quite as durable as you claim it to be. This is no mistake we have made quite a few tests and they all come out the same. You claim they are 32% more durable. We test them to be only 12%. Now, unless you make a drastic change manufacturing your leather and make them as durable as you say they should be, we will have to discontinue our services with you. We lost a good chunk of our sales due to this problem. I advice you to make a careful check as to what you say and make sure it is correct. Due to this incident I expect a full refund from the last shipment that we received from you.

We bought from you 7 boxes of leather straps. We paid $1.15 per pound, and the boxes came to a total of 27 pounds, so that is in total $217.35. The shipment number was 051025-T3.

If you have any comments regarding this letter please do not hesitate to call or make an appointment. I would like clear this up as soon as possible so that we may continue to create a respectable business.
