The American Revolution changed the American Society in various ways. There were political ideas about rights of citizens, economic ideas about paying off debt, and social ideas about women's roles. Yes, the American Revolution had a weak government at the time of the American Revolution but it would soon change with the ideas to improve the American society.

Politics were a major part of the Revolution. One approach to set the change was the Declaration of Independence. George Washington thought it was time to declare a change in the society because he wanted to be an independent country. Having this change had the American society thinking of new ways to led to more freedom. This led to the colonies wanting to self-govern their society. The American Society believed that to be free from Great Britain they needed to make a new kind of self-government. Americans would govern themselves based on a certain amount of principles or ideas. After this fact the Americans stepped up their efforts aimed at the Loyalists which they considered as traitors. This soon shaped the American society by bringing a few Americans together to force the Loyalist soon out of town. Having the Loyalists get up a leave everything they helped somewhat economically pay for the war.

Another establishment in the American society was the ways they tried to pay off debt. Alexander Hamilton was the one who seemed to be most focused on paying off debt. He came up with the idea of the Bank of United States. It was built to store government money, led to businesses, and stabilize the currency. But first to pay off the debt he would propose and revenue mad through tariffs, excise tax, and the National Bank. This would change Americans society by tying states together through debt. One important factor of the National bank was paper currency. Paper currency was not worth any amount of money at all. Paper currency wasn't working out because it gave people a confusion of the value of money. The Americans had felt that paper currency was owned as their own and would lead to being independent from Great Britain.

The final change that happened during the Revolution was rights of women and slavery. Slavery was extremely common during the American Revolution. Most slaves came from South of the Caribbean. The American society could not be changed at this time. However, slavery was not allowed in the Northwest. Rights of women increased during the revolution. While
