1. The project of Sankofa is the historical recovery to every field in Black studies. The word itself means to return and recover it. The goals of Sankofa are to return to the rich resources of the pat and using them to make the present and future better.

2. History can be described in many different ways; one way is to say that it is human in the fullest and most diverse sense of the word. Next it is social, by and about people in definite social situations, in a definite society in relations to others, themselves and nature. Also, it is confliction and full of contradictions. In addition, history is fluid and changeable in constant movement. Furthermore, history is manageable. It is subject to controlled and directed change.

3. The four oppositions in which humans struggle in making history are: nature, society, other people and the immediate selves. In nature they discover and create all sorts of things but they rename themselves changing what was right before. In society what's true is sometimes hidden because people don't want it to be known that there are people that were pioneers before they were. Also there are many times when there is a deception of people that is not really what they are. A person can be made out to whatever someone else wants them to be. That is what stops people from making history.

4. There are numerous factors which complicate the study of African History. One reason is because there are so many countries in Africa and sometimes people want to associate them as all being the same. In reality they all are different. There are many different languages, findings, and much more research to show this. The Europeans want to claim parts of the land when they can't even explain some of the writings and languages. The truth is that the Europeans want everyone to believe that they were the first of Africa so they destroyed documents that would show otherwise.

5. The important roles that the Nubians had were being the rulers of Egypt. Although it was said to be that they had no connection with Egypt There were books and documents left behind to show otherwise. The Nubians also had the first pharos of Egypt. Also they found that Egypt was of rich land and had lots of gold which they called Kush.

6. The importance of the Shabaka Text or the Memphite Theology is that is shows the first recorded documents of Christianity.

7. 7. Maat means anything including truth, justice, propriety, harmony, and balance, and reciprocity, rightness in the divine natural and social realms. It's an old tradition of excellence which marks the old kingdom that continues throughout Egyptian history.

8. Although many racist try to falsify the truth, Egyptians were the beginning to man kind. They were the first to start the practice of food gathering and agriculture. The started the practicing of settled life which included cloth weaving, wood working, shipbuilding, glass- making, leatherwork, pottery production, metallurgy and mining in gold, silver, and copper as well as its alloys, brass and bronze. There was also much more craftsmanship. The Egyptians are known for their architecture mainly the pyramids which till this day cannot be built. There are other things like pools, dams, canals, gardens, courtyards, reservoirs, fortresses, and many things that started with the Egyptians that you see today. Egypt also contributed to science and math. Some examples are mummification, surgery, and medicine. There are many documents left on papyrus which is where pap originated from. These documents include arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.
